Las Posadas
Las Posadas, a ceremonial celebration of Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem, has been co-sponsored by the FCAC and the Committee for the Restoration of the Mission San Jose.
Beginning on December 15th, the public is invited to join with us at 6:00 pm each evening on the porch of the Mission Museum, walk to a different nearby destination, sing carols and enjoy complimentary entertainment and light refreshments provided by our host. This wonderful family-friendly preparation for the great feast of Christmas has been an Old Mission San Jose tradition since 1982.
After meeting on the porch of the Mission Museum, 43300 Mission Boulevard, Fremont, we will proceed to the following destinations. While all locations are in easy walking distance, it can be cold, so wear your coats and bring a flashlight!
